SP is a common term in RPG games. It's short for Soul Points or Spirit Points. The SP meter indicates the amount of spells or special attacks a character can do. Each spell or special attack costs a different amount of SP. If you have less SP than is required to cast a spell or special attack, you can't cast it.
Gaining more SP[]
There are some ways to increase one's maximum SP. Spending free stat points on Spirit is one way to increase one's maximum SP.
Classes and SP[]
Not every class has the same amount of SP, here's a list of the SP rating of the classes:
- Fighter: A fighter has very few SP as he doesn't use spells or magic and the special attacks don't cost much SP to cast.
- Cleric: A cleric has more SP then a Fighter and an Archer, but less then a mage. This is because the healing magic of a Cleric costs a lot of SP, but a Cleric can also attack using a weapon.
- Archer: An Archer has slightly less SP than a Cleric.
- Mage: A Mage is no good attacking with his or her staff. a Mage is really weak and thus uses magic to attack. as he only uses magic he has a lot of SP.
- Trickster:
- Crusader:
